Samuel Etuk
Award-winning
author, speaker, and professional historian, Emma Samuel Etuk
is the founder and director of Nigeria For Christ Ministries.
A graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C., he obtained
a Ph.D. in United States History, with minors in African History
and International Relations.
Formerly
a civil servant, Etuk attended the Polytechnic, Calabar, in
Nigeria, where he received a Higher National Diploma in Estate
Management. He also received a B.A. degree in Business Administration
from Malone College, Canton, Ohio, a M.A. in Church History
from Ashland Theological Seminary, and did graduate work at
the Institute of Church and State at Baylor University in
Waco, Texas. At seminary, Etuk studied under Drs. David A.
Rausch, Douglas Chrismar and Jerry R. Flora.
Etuk
is a motivational speaker who has taught history at Howard,
Dillard and Morgan State Universities, as well as at Bethune-Cookman
College. He has lectured in Nigeria and in the United States,
and has written seven books, several articles and essays which
have been widely read. He has been heard on more than 200
radio talk-show and television programs covering USA, Canada,
the Caribbean and Europe.
In
1999, Etuk and his family were honored at the U.S. Congress
as "Parents of the Year" for the State of Maryland
"for their outstanding example of creating a God centered
home, demonstrating sacrificial love towards others and ministering
to parents and families in their community." The same
year, two of Etuk's books won the Writer's Digest 1999 National
Self-Published Book Awards.
Etuk
is currently a member of the National Speakers Association.
He is also a member of the Small Publishers Association of
North America (SPAN). He conducts workshops and lectures on
leadership, Christian evangelism, soul-winning techniques
and on the topics related to his books. He can be reached
